The Bostons Project
Annie and I found each other in 2007. Abandoned outside a shelter in Tennessee, she was skittish and fearful at just a year old. She's blossomed now–a playful pup, Annie loves to destroy toys, play ball, and true to the 'bully breed' in her, she needlessly defends our home without reservation.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I brought home Murray after his second stay at the rescue. Expecting a mellow, mature dog, he still surprises me. Murray is the life of the party, a wannabe stunt dog, and my constant companion. He made fast friends with Annie, and now they're forever bonded.
Update: Annie and Murray passed away within months of each other in 2018. We said our final farewell to Murray in July and lost Annie in December after she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. They left huge holes in our hearts but we are better people because we had Annie + Murray in our lives. 💙💙
